What I do
From understanding the work to building — and supporting — what makes it better.
I can take on one stage or the whole arc, working on my own or alongside your existing staff, developers and technology providers.
01
Understand & Map
Before anything is built, I learn how the work actually happens.
- Stakeholder discovery
- Process mapping
- User journey mapping
- Service blueprints
- Information architecture
- Bottleneck and duplication analysis
- Current-state assessment
02
Redesign & Simplify
A better future-state process — simplified before anything is automated.
- Future-state process design
- Workflow optimization
- Form redesign
- Information-flow improvements
- Role and responsibility clarification
- Accessibility improvements
03
Digitize & Build
The redesigned process, implemented with the right tools.
- Convert Excel processes into web applications
- Replace manual Word and PDF workflows
- Create structured databases
- Build portals and dashboards
- Develop interactive forms
- Automate notifications and approvals
- Integrate existing systems
04
Extend with AI
AI is used when it improves the service — not because it is fashionable.
- AI-assisted document processing
- Intelligent intake and classification
- Knowledge retrieval systems
- AI-assisted report generation
- Workflow automation
- AI application prototyping
- Human-in-the-loop quality assurance
05
Establish & Support
The simplest appropriate technology, set up to last and easy to maintain.
- Managed WordPress websites
- Squarespace websites
- Content management systems
- Website modernization
- Training and documentation
- Maintenance and ongoing improvement

Choose the right technology
There’s no universally best tool — only the right one for the situation. Tell me where you are and I’ll point to a starting direction, trade-offs and all.
Start simple: a site + CMS. Add structure only when the content actually needs it.
Squarespace or WordPress
Best for
A credible, maintainable website or content site you can edit yourself.
Trade-off
Great for pages, weak for workflows and structured data. Don’t force an app into it.
A no-code app (Bubble)
Best for
Forms, databases and workflows — replacing scattered spreadsheets — without a dev team.
Trade-off
Some platform lock-in, and cost scales with use. Excellent until you hit the far edges.
Custom, AI-assisted build
Best for
When the process is core to the organization and nothing off-the-shelf fits.
Trade-off
More effort up front and ongoing care. Worth it when you need to own the thing.
AI integration
Best for
When skilled people spend hours reading, sorting or drafting the same things.
Trade-off
Needs human review, good data and clear limits. It won’t fix a broken process.
Not sure which of these you need?
That’s the normal starting point. Tell me what isn’t working and we’ll find it together.
